Training Philosophy
In general our workouts are briefer in duration, higher in intensity and less frequent that conventional wisdom dictates. Actually, conventional wisdom as applied to exercise is all over the place. Often the differences are subtle. No wonder so many people are left confused.
Terms such as "continuous tension", "varied cadence", "static contraction", "deep breathing", "focused mindfulness", "high intensity" and others are used when describing various aspects of our training and can make it appear quite complex. It is my job to make implementing them simple and straightforward in practice.
You don't need to spend hours in the gym, several times a week to get and stay fit. In fact, such a regimen is likely to be counter-productive, leading to burnout, fatigue, even injury.
The best way to judge the effectiveness of any program is by the results achieved over a wide range of varied individuals. My training achieves these results.
What separates my personal training is the amount of presence and attention I bring to the people I work with.
